Emile P. Oestriecher, III, CPA

Emile Oestriecher earned a BS degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University in 1961. He has been involved in the accounting profession since 1963 when he returned to his hometown of Alexandria, Louisiana, upon completion of two years active duty as a United States Army Officer. He founded his own accounting firm in 1970 and is President of Oestriecher & Company, CPAs, working with his son Kurt, who is also a CPA and a partner in the accounting firm.  In his practice with Oestriecher & Company, Emile focused primarily on tax planning and compliance and service to small businesses.    

In 1999, Emile became a Registered Representative, providing financial planning assistance for his clients. Emile is licensed as both a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisory Representative with LPL Financial, and holds a Life and Health Insurance license.

Through consistent effort and a reputation for outstanding service and integrity, Emile has built a solid base of clients.

As an active member of his community, Emile has been involved in several organizations. Most notably, he has been the Scoutmaster of Troop 6, Boy Scouts of America since 1972, working with hundreds of boys, helping them to develop leadership values and leadership skills. “Mr. O.”, as he is known to his Scouts, has been recognized many times for this commitment. In addition to his Scouting work, he is involved with St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church which honored him with the “Dedicated Parishioner Award”.  He is a Charter Member of the MacArthur Drive Lions Club and served in many leadership capacities, including President. In 2002, in recognition of his many volunteer activities, he received the AICPA Public Service Award.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and served on national committees of that organization. He also served as Chapter President and Member of the Board of Directors of the Society of Louisiana CPAs (LCPA). He and his wife Audrey have four children.

 

Anne Oestriecher, CPA, CFP

Anne Oestriecher is also a Certified Public Accountant, having graduated from Loyola University in 1985 and receiving her CPA certificate in 1986.  She began her career working with Touche Ross, CPAs in their audit department. After rising to the level of audit manager, she left public accounting to work for Hibernia National Bank as their Accounting Policy & Control Manager.  There, she was responsible for many aspects of accounting and reporting, including analysis of new accounting pronouncements, coordinating internal control issues, and had technical accounting responsibilities for items such as investments, derivatives and purchase accounting.

Upon the acquisition of Hibernia by Capital One in 2006, Anne moved from New Orleans back to her hometown of Alexandria, and formed her own practice, providing continuing education for CPAs. She traveled around the country providing seminars to other CPAs on various accounting and auditing topics. She was named the Outstanding Discussion Leader by the Society of Louisiana CPAs in 2009 and by the American Institute of CPAs in 2011.

In 2008, Anne began the process of earning her securities licenses, and in 2009 joined her father in Oestriecher Financial Management Services. She is licensed as an Investment Advisory Representative as well as a Registered Representative with LPL Financial, as well as having a Life and Health insurance license. These licenses provide her with the ability to offer a complete range of investment and risk management products and services. In 2011, Anne passed the CFP® examination and other requirements and is now a Certified Financial PlannerTM professional.

Always active in her community, Anne has been a volunteer with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for more than 30 years, serving on the as the chairman for the Great Strides Walk each year, as well as helping with other projects of the CFF. She coached softball for several years at her neighborhood playground in Metairie, and currently serves on the Troop Committee for BSA Troop 6. She is an active member of both St. Frances Cabrini Church in Alexandria and St. Philip Neri Church in Kinder and the Kiwanis Club of Central Louisiana.  She is also a member of the LCPA and the AICPA.


Damianna Folse

 A South Louisiana native, Damianna attended Northwestern State University. She joined the firm in 2003, serving as Client Services Manager and is now securities licensed and is a LPL Registered Sales Assistant. She is responsible for much of the daily operations of the business, and can handle most client service requests. Damianna has three children. She is involved in the hearing-impaired community through the Department of Health and Hospitals and Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Program. She serves as a Parent Guide, mentoring parents who have children who have been recently diagnosed with hearing loss. She also mentors foster children who are in the process of “aging-out” of the system.



Hannah Toups

Client Services Assistant

Hannah is a native of Morgan City. She graduated from Louisiana College in Pineville in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting. She began working for our company in January of 2020 as an intern and has since become a member of the OFMS family. She is available to help assist with any client requests other than trading. Hannah is member of the LCPA and the AICPA. She is anticipating taking the exams to be securities and insurance licensed in 2020.







Jacob Ryder

Client Services Assistant

A native of Cenla, Jacob graduated from Louisiana State University at Alexandria in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting. He began working with us as an intern in March of 2020. He is available to help assist with any client requests other than trading. Jacob is married, and he and his wife have 2 children. Jacob is also a member of the LCPA and AICPA. He is also going to be taking the securities and insurance licenses exams in 2020.
